  • Discuss the key risks and associated internal controls in the Revenue process cycle
  • Establish an overview of the Revenue operational process and its significance within an organization
  • Plan and approach to the review on the policies/ procedures and reporting requirements of the Revenue process, including revenue recognition and sales return policies, and back office operational procedures
  • Discuss common lapses found in the Revenue process
  • Reporting on findings and suggesting practical improvement on Revenue process
  • Effective ways to streamline the operational process and strengthen the internal controls of Revenue process

Christopher is the Executive Director of a professional firm specializing in internal audit, corporate governance and risk management. He is a Certified Internal Auditor with the Institute of Internal Auditors and is an accredited assessor by the Institute in Internal Quality Assessment/Validation. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Ottawa University. He is a Fellow with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Christopher has more than 13 years of internal auditing experience. He specializes in internal audit, corporate governance and risk management. Having worked in large SGX-listed companies and established public accounting firms, including Head of internal audit & risk management divisions, he has vast experience in setting up internal audit functions, internal controls and corporate governance reviews, enterprise risk management and fraud investigations. Other experiences include IT auditing, risk assessment, control self-assessment, setting up quality management system, SOP documentation and ISO 9001 implementation. Christopher also regularly provides trainings in related topics.

Christopher is a member of the executive committee of ACCA Singapore and a committee member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

 

Fong Cheng Han

Madam Fong Cheng Han has extensive experience in Finance, Auditing – both external and internal audit. She has worked in Ernst and Young and held various accounting positions, including Finance Controller positions of US multi-national companies. Her last position was the Executive Director of Internal Audit Services at Seagate Singapore International Headquarters. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the National University of Singapore. She is a retired Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, a retired Certified Fraud Examiner with the Association for Certified Fraud Examine; and holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance with the Institute of Internal Auditors Singapore. She is also a certified Six Sigma black belt.
