7.00 CPE Hours (Others)
Classroom

Programme Objective

Increasingly, Singapore companies are looking to overseas markets to drive growth and expansion. Some companies may choose the path of green field investments - to grow their overseas footprints brick-by-brick; others may choose to leapfrog competition through mergers and acquisitions.

This seminar seeks to provide you with an overview of tax efficient structuring and how this impacts the after-tax returns and cashflows from your company’s outbound investments, potential pitfalls to watch out for, and safeguards that could be put in place to ensure that your company remain tax compliant.

Programme Outline

  • How do the host/home country tax considerations impact your after-tax returns and cash-flows?
  • What are the host country investment vehicle options available to foreign investors?
  • What are the structuring options available for our outbound investments in terms of:
  • Holding
  • Financing
  • Operating
  • Joint Ventures
  • Group discussions on recent developments and measures that could be put into place to safeguard your structures and be tax compliant.
