Programme Objective
 
As a leader in the accounting industry, you will be called upon to do presentations that need to be meaningful, memorable and impactful.
 
To help you achieve the desired positive impact, this one-day workshop will provide you with simple but effective methods to improve your STEAK (structure of contents), SIZZLE (make contents engaging) and STYLE (verbal and non-verbal communication skills). 
 
After attending the workshop, you will be able to:

• Analyse the audience to prepare for the presentation
• Structure the content to create a meaningful presentation
• Design the presentation to create an impactful message
• Demonstrate effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills to engage the audience

Programme Outline

The following topics will be covered:

• Gain clarity about being a memorable presenter
• STEAK: 7 easy steps to organise your presentation
• SIZZLE: Ways to make your presentation interesting
• STYLE: Enhance your verbal and non-verbal communication skills

 
You will be asked to do two short presentations during the workshop. Your presentations will be filmed and you will be provided with the recording of your presentations to view so that you can identify areas of improvement. 
 
You will also be provided with detailed feedback after each presentation to help you identify what you did well and how you can improve your presentation skills going forward.
 
Training Methodology
 
Our approach to training is based on adult learning principles to create a conducive and active learning environment where participants can apply newly acquired knowledge, skills and attitude throughout the workshop.
 
We use a variety of instructional methods, such as group discussions, skills practice and interactive team activities, to allow participants to consider new ideas and apply their new skills to realistic scenarios in a safe learning environment.
 
As a result, the participants will leave our training with the confidence to immediately apply the knowledge and skills learnt to make meaningful, memorable and impactful presentations.
