Introduction
This 1-day course focuses on key considerations of the reviewers (audit partner and director) when reviewing the audit work performed by junior staff members on the audit of revenue under FRS 115 and audit of financial instruments under FRS 109

Programme Objective
To assist audit file reviewers to understand the relevant audit considerations, practical challenges and audit documentation requirements in relation to the audit of the new financial reporting standards, FRS115 and FRS109.

  • Overview of audit requirements relating to management’s compliance with financial reporting requirements
  • Managing challenges relating to the audit of new financial reporting requirements
  • Understanding audit documentation requirements and addressing common areas of documentation weakness
  • Areas of focus and key considerations from the reviewer’s perspective
  • Evaluate audit findings, audit documentation and appropriateness of audit conclusion
