Programme Objective
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are important documents that guide good business practices and contribute to an organization’s compliance with laws and regulations as well as other local or international quality control requirements. Effective SOPs contribute to an organization’s operational efficiency and more importantly, enable its operations to achieve the required level of compliance and quality control.
However, writing SOPs can be challenging even for someone who is a subject matter expert. While it is desirable for SOPs to be accurate and easy to comprehend, the writing and formatting of SOPs must follow good documentation practices that incorporate controls to ensure integrity in their execution and management. Only then will SOPs be effective in meeting the objectives for which they are developed.

- To reinforce an organization’s overall compliance and quality control system

- Incorporate key points in documentation to:
- Meet requirements of quality standards and compliance
- Reflect current operational realities
