Programme Objective


This one-day workshop is based on interactive learning, using experiential activities and activities incorporating the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Discover how emotions affect interpersonal relationships;
  • Have a clear understanding of how our behaviour affects others;
  • Understand the characteristics of an effective team;
  • Develop a positive attitude and trust toward teamwork

Training Methodology 

Small group discussions, individual reflection, and group sharing exercises. Video clips will be used to highlight key concepts. This is an interactive workshop that will focus on the practical applications of EQ for success at work. Participants will spend time developing action plans aimed at managing problems/opportunities in the workplace.

1 week before programme or until full enrolment.

Intended For

A Foundation level programme suitable for all professionals who like to develop the important softskill of EQ.

Arul John Peter

Arul John Peter holds an MBA and majored in strategic human resource management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science as his basic degree and professional qualification in administrative and people management. He is a certified EQ Skill Trainer. He is a member of the American Creativity Association. During his 10-year tenure with an International Trade Secretariat, he was conducting training workshops on employee related issues in countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Fiji, Philippines, Thailand, India and several other Asian countries. Since 1997, he is actively involved in staff training and staff development activities.
