Programme Objective

This workshop is an interactive exploration of the building blocks of blockchain technology and a discussion on its practical uses. Through multiple hands-on activities, we explore and highlight the many concepts that make blockchain technology possible. The course has multiple real world examples and contrasts between specific blockchain implementations, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Stellar, with the goal of demystifying the concept of blockchain technology and providing a relevant, applicable understanding.
 
This course is relevant to working professionals in domains such as finance, education and logistics, for whom blockchain technology is already threatening to disrupt their industries. Participants will be well-positioned to debate the pros and cons of different blockchain implementations and contribute to any blockchain-related projects and discussions.

Training Methodology
 

Participants are required to be equipped with a laptop so that relevant sites can be accessed during the course.

Our curriculum is designed by trained MOE teachers with classroom teaching experience, who are also programmers with experience developing apps for startups and MNCs. We aim to adapt the best teaching materials available from all over the world, while supplementing them with best practices from our industry experience, to create the most effective courses for learners of all levels. For these courses, it helps that our teachers possess a wealth of experience teaching, and many more hours of experience coding.
 
In our classes, learners will be carefully guided through the basic concepts, before being challenged to apply these concepts to create applications they can be proud of and learn from.
