Programme Overview
This course is formerly known as ADT049: Professional Conduct and Ethics in An Audit.


Programme Objective

To provide audit professionals with guidance on, and how to comply with, the ISCA Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics (“the Code”). This course will also cover practical guidance on how to apply the Code’s Ethical Conflict Resolution framework in situations where the auditor faces ethical dilemmas in an audit engagement.
 

Programme Outline

  • Understanding the provisions of the ISCA Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics with regard to an audit of financial statements.
  • Identifying circumstances that require the application of the Code’s fundamental principles to conflict resolution.
  • Applying the Code’s Ethical Conflict Resolution framework to ethical dilemmas (a hands-on ethical dilemma case for analysis and discussion is recommended).

Lecture style, with Exercises/Case Studies

Closing Date for Registration
1 week before programme or until full enrolment

Intended For

A Foundation level programme intended for Audit professionals. Senior Audit professionals who like to grasp a good understanding of complying with the code of ethics in audit engagements are welcome to attend.
