Programme Objective

How many of you agree that there is an increase in the expectation of ethical behaviour in all sorts of business organisations and also in the accounting profession?  Although we are expected to uphold the ethical standards, it is never an easy task in practice. The challenge is what constitutes ethical behaviour.  It seems that it is always a question of fact.  How do you apply the ethical standards knowing that it can be a subjective exercise?

This module aims to create a basic framework for the participants to know how to mitigate ethical conflicts in business through the application of the Enneagram as a useful tool.  Participants will also learn how to apply the Enneagram to enable them to understand business ethics and enhance their ethical behaviour.  Practical case studies will be used to demonstrate such an application in this module.

Programme Outline

  • Introduce the Enneagram as a personality-profiling tool and explain how each of the nine types gathers information and make decisions
