Programme Objective

A long-awaited dream of working from home dressed in pyjamas has finally come true in the new normal. What is then the key definition of working from home and the scope of work to be executed?

There are certainly ethical issues about working from home, and its implications arising from various situations. For example, you are required to work from home but your boss wants you to come to work every day. In another instance, you are required to attend meetings while working from home and you did not attend the meetings. How should we then react?

By attending the short course, participants will learn that all employers must implement work-from-home policy guidelines. And even while working from home, employees are required to be dutifully working and not take advantage of the working hours for non-work-related purposes. The course also explores the importance of understanding the rights of working from home and helps as a guide to exercise the right decisions when facing ethical dilemmas from both the employers’ and the employees’ perspectives.
