Programme Objective

In the current challenging economic and professional environment, keeping up to date with technical changes for external auditors is imperative. The objective of this one day seminar is to provide an overview of the recent changes in the areas of the Ethics Pronouncements, Companies Act, FRSs, SSAs and how these changes will affect the external auditor. Designed with the experienced external auditors (audit manager, director and partner) in mind, the seminar will provide practical guidance on how to implement and address these changes in the course of their statutory audit.

Eric is the founder of his own consultancy firm dedicated to assisting public accountants improve their audit practice. Eric has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, including 13 years with a Big 4 international accounting firm. During this period, Eric has accumulated extensive experience in financial reporting and assurance advisory, audit of public and private entities, engagement quality control, forensic file reviews, audit and financial reporting training and audit practice related risk management matters.

 
Eric is a regular speaker on audit-related seminars with various professional organisations and a part-time lecturer at the Nanyang Technological University, Nanyang Business School. Eric is currently also the independent technical and quality control adviser/reviewer to various public accountants.
