Exclusive and Complimentary Event for members of IES-INCA and ISCA

Programme Outline

IES-INCA x ISCA – Panel Discussion

The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) – Incubator and Accelerator (IES-INCA) and Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) are partnering to create collaborative opportunities for engineers and accountants through member networking events and knowledge exchange initiatives. Through the partnership, IES-INCA and ISCA will jointly organise relevant events and workshops to enhance knowledge of and facilitate collaboration opportunities between IES and ISCA members.

We would like to invite you to join us for a panel discussion on “Engineering and Accounting: The Twin Pillars of Trust for Sustainability”.  The event aims to promote interconnectivity between professionals from both fields to foster collaboration and explore synergies in the sustainability space. This is an opportunity for engineers and accountants to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build relationships to drive sustainability development.

Panel Discussion
Engineers and accountancy professionals help create a foundation of trust for sustainability to develop and grow. Engineering solutions find innovative ways to address ESG concerns, such as carbon capture and utilisation technology, while sustainability reporting help ensure these innovations are commercially viable by giving stakeholders information that they can trust.

Engineering systems and processes are key to reliable measurements of non-financial data, which is required for sustainability reporting and the integration of ESG into enterprise risk management processes. Adherence to universally recognised standards and processes creates trustworthy assessments of sustainability’s value to multiple stakeholders. Engineers and accountants also work together to prevent greenwashing.
