Programme Objective

Organisations from various industries need to stay ahead of their competition in an increasingly complex and volatile business environment. To meet the challenges of meeting customers’ needs, organisations use Design Thinking for change and evolution. Design thinking is a proven and repeatable problem-solving process that compels organisations to focus on solutions, and not on the problem.

Upon completion of this course, participants will understand why a human-centered design is important in this age where innovation has become an imperative. Participants will also appreciate how simplicity helps to increase innovation. The course will present phases of design thinking through examples, stories and graphics, coupled with hands-on exercises to practice the processes using a collaborative online tool called Mural. Participants can apply skills learnt by way of ideation to identify, conceptualize, and develop innovative solutions for prevalent challenges within the accounting industry.
