Dr Themin Suwardy is an Associate Professor of Accounting (Practice) with the SMU School of Accountancy. Before his current appointment as Associate Provost (PGP Education), he was Dean of Postgraduate Professional Programmes (2016-2021), looking after SMU portfolio of Masters programme with an annual intake of over 1,400 students. Prior to joining academia, Themin was an auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick. Themin serves as the Vice Chairman of SATA CommHealth and chairs its Investment and Finance Committee. He is also a Director of GMAC and chairs its Membership committee. He is a member of the Goods and Services Tax Board of Review. He is a regular contributor to professional and regulatory bodies, industry and media on matters related to Corporate Governance and Controls, Accounting Education, and Financial Reporting and Disclosure.

Caroline Lee has over 30 years’ experience in the public accountancy profession. She is a Partner at KPMG in Singapore and Asia Pacific Head of Quality & Risk Management. Ms. Lee is the Chair of the Public Accountants Oversight Committee’s Ethics Sub-Committee in Singapore and the Deputy Chair of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants. Her work at the IESBA and the PAOC involves setting the IESBA Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants, including International Independence Standards, and the ACRA Code respectively. Her responsibilities also include encouraging adoption, implementation and application of these ethics and independence standards. Ms. Lee is a Chartered Accountant and ISCA member. She is also a Public Accountant registered with ACRA.
Assistant Chief Executive, Accounting & Compliance Group, Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority
Ms Kuldip Gill is the Assistant Chief Executive of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and oversees the Accounting and Compliance Group which supports ACRA in developing a progressive and responsive regulatory regime as the regulator of business registration, financial reporting, public accountants and corporate service providers. This includes the oversight of public accountants and public accounting entities, financial reporting by companies, as well as setting the strategic direction for ACRA’s enforcement efforts over business entities and company directors.
Kuldip leads ACRA’s involvement in the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR), of which ACRA is a member of the IFIAR Board, Global Audit Quality Working Group and Technology Task Force. She also serves as the Chair of the Human Resources and Governance Committee of the IFIAR Board.
Kuldip has more than 30 years’ experience in public accounting in various countries in the region including Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, with extensive experience in the audits of multinational and local companies in a wide spectrum of industries. Prior to joining ACRA, she was a partner in one of the Big-4 firms in Singapore and was responsible for some of the quality aspects of the network firm.
Kuldip is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Lynn advises private- and public-sector clients across Southeast Asia on structuring and financing large and complex capital projects, including public-private partnerships (PPPs) and private-finance initiatives (PFIs). Her work covers many areas, such as policy development, procurement strategy, market sounding, financial modeling as well as financial and commercial advice.
She has vast experience as a strategic, commercial, financial, bid and transaction advisor as well as a financier to organizations in the transportation, energy, education, health care and public sectors.
Before joining the organization, Lynn worked in the consulting, banking and public sectors across Asia, Europe and Australia.
Her public-sector experience includes assisting the Singapore Government and other governments across Asia on several major infrastructure projects. She also previously advised the UK Government on PPP and PFI policies as well as financing oversight of transportation projects.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Ms June Sim is the Senior Vice President and Head of Listing Compliance in SGX, and oversees the compliance of all SGX-listed companies with the Listing Manual. She leads the function that monitors listed issuers’ compliance with continuing listing obligations, including regulatory oversight of Catalist sponsors. As a senior management member of SGX Regco, her views are valued in discharging SGX’s responsibilities as the frontline regulator in the review of submissions to SGX Regco for corporate action. She is a frequent speaker on various corporate governance seminars and contributes to continuously raise standards for professionals in the capital markets regulatory ecosystem.
Ng Kian Hui

Kian Hui has more than 24 years of experience in providing auditing and assurance services to clients in Singapore and China. His clients are owner-managed companies, listed companies, multinational corporation and state-owned enterprise in diverse industries including property development, construction, education, professional services and natural resources etc.
Kian Hui is the Technical Partner and Head of Audit of BDO LLP in Singapore. He is also a member of the BDO Global IFRS Policy Committee. Kian Hui currently is a member of the ISCA Financial Reporting Committee and ISCA Audit & Assurance Committee – Core Sub-Committee.
Lee Tze Shiong

Tze Shiong has a total of more than 30 years of audit experience, most of which were with the large international audit firms. Prior to joining Nexia TS, he was the Divisional Director of the Public Accountancy Division of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
In ACRA, he was the Assistant Registrar for the Public Accountants overseeing the Practice Monitoring and Professional Oversight Departments.
Prior to joining ACRA, Tze Shiong spearheaded the Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) audit group in one of the Big 4 accounting firms in Singapore. He also assumed the business development role for the SME audit group as well as the firm’s Audit Innovation Program.
Tze Shiong was involved in the audit of listed and multi-national groups, initial public offerings and other audit advisory engagements. He worked in different oversea offices of the Big 4 accounting firms, which included Australia, China, Hong Kong and South East Asia.

Ms Ng Meow Ling is the Director of the Practice Monitoring Department (PMD) in the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore (ACRA).
The Practice Monitoring Department (PMD) supports ACRA in its strategic objective of promoting high quality audit and corporate financial reporting through the administration of the Practice Monitoring Programme, which includes performing practice reviews of audits carried out by public accountants in Singapore. PMD also supports ACRA’s regulatory efforts in monitoring events and trends in the local and international marketplace and carries out other regulatory activities on the work and independence of public accountants when required.
Meow Ling spent a total of more than 19 years in the audit profession, serving audit clients across various industries.
Meow Ling holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the Nanyang Technological University. She is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Lee Eng Kian
