Topic: Business Resilience – Wave of disruptive events in recent years and why does business resilience matter?

Businesses are increasingly operating in highly connected and inter-dependent ecosystems. Increasing geo-political, biosafety and cybersecurity events have increased volatility and its resultant risk on businesses significantly. Preparedness has meant the difference between survival with agile businesses using this opportunity to further disrupt existing baselines.

In this session, we discuss the following: what is business resilience and how should finance and risk professionals prepare their organizations for dislocations?  How should we think about risks in an increasingly connected world? How should organizations build up resilience in their risk management strategies?

Topic: Risks that Stem from Coming out of the Pandemic

Moving into the post-pandemic era, organisations need to re-assess risk management strategies for a more agile, holistic, and resilient approach.

In this session, we explore how might organisations improve their risk management processes? How should organisations reimagine enterprise risk management in the post-pandemic era? What are the opportunities and risks in the post-pandemic world?

Topic: Technologies that Enhance Risk Management

As Singapore emerges from the COVID pandemic in 2022, organisations have increasingly realised the importance of being digital and adopted technologies which accelerate digitalisation for business continuity. This has enabled the collection of business and customer data that could better feed into operational planning and improve the response towards and velocity in which risk is managed.

In this session, we explore how Accounting and Finance professionals are able to leverage such digital technologies, to embrace practices such as predictive risk modelling to enhance their risk management capabilities.  We will also address some of the challenges and opportunities when adopting the latest advanced business intelligence solutions.
