The volunteer Career Advisors initiative was announced during DPM Heng Swee Keat’s Unity Budget in February 2020, aiming to provide individuals (especially mature workers) with peer-level support, sector-specific advice and career guidance as they navigate professional pathways to advance their careers, or transition to other jobs.
