E192v : Ethical Issues in Greenwashing NEW

3.50 CPE Hours (Category 2, Others)
Live Webinar

Programme Objective

The issue of greenwashing has become a prominent ethical concern in the realm of sustainability and corporate responsibility. Greenwashing involves the deceptive practice of presenting a misleading facade of environmental responsibility to conceal less eco-friendly practices. This phenomenon raises ethical questions about transparency, honesty, and the true commitment of businesses to sustainable practices. Companies engaging in greenwashing not only undermine the credibility of their own sustainability claims but also erode the trust of consumers and stakeholders. Addressing ethical issues in greenwashing requires a concerted effort from businesses, regulators, and consumers to promote genuine environmental stewardship and discourage deceptive practices in the pursuit of a more sustainable future.
