Dr Khoo Guan Seng, PhD

Dr GS Khoo is a seasoned banking and fund management expert with over 28 years’ experience, including leadership in ESG and responsible investing. His career spans major financial institutions in the USA, Canada, UK, and Singapore, notably serving as Principal Scientist at Man Group, where he developed AI-driven hedge fund strategies, and holding key risk management roles at AIMCo, Temasek Holdings, and others.

He holds a PhD in Computational Physics from NUS, with postdoctoral work in AI data mining in Japan and the US, and co-founded NTU’s Centre for Financial Engineering and its MSc programme with CMU. Dr Khoo helped establish AIMCo’s Responsible Investing Unit and contributed to investment committees. Recently, he has led sustainability-focused and AI training for institutions across ASEAN, with ASB, LBS, and INSEAD.

As an NTU academic, he pioneered environmental education and authored works on AI, biodiversity, climate change education, and Singapore’s flora and fauna.

 

 

Mr Steve Tunstall

Founder, Director, Business Builder & PARIMA General Secretary

Steve has over 30 years of experience in owning, operating, and future-proofing companies, primarily across Asia. A seasoned executive with leadership experience as CEO, Managing Director, and Chair, managing teams of up to 500 employees.

Currently serves as Director, Chair, and Head of Risk across a range of organizations, from large enterprises to smaller ventures. Extensive experience overseeing captive and insurance-linked securities (ILS) vehicles regulated in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, and the United Kingdom. Co-founder of the Pan Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association, and Director and Treasurer of Zero Waste Singapore.

Previously held senior roles including:

  • Head of Compliance, Insurance, Legal, and Risk at Cathay Pacific Airways
  • Vice President, Risk at Genting Casinos
  • Managing Director at Jardine Schindler Lifts Singapore

Holds an MSc in Project Management & Risk, a BSc in Surveying, and a Diploma in M&E Engineering. Professional memberships include MIRM, MBCI, MACostE, MAPM, MSID, and MRICS, alongside various qualifications in artificial intelligence.

Prof Ang Shih Huei

Shih-Huei has led the operations and expansion of H/Advisors Klareco since 2010. Under Shih-Huei’s leadership, Klareco now operates as a leading communications network across Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Singapore.​​​

Shih-Huei advises Boards and C-suites of large organisations on corporate reputation, financial communication, investor relations and crisis strategies, and provides media and public-speaking training to C-suites in both public and private institutions. ​​

Today, she leads a team of over 30 public relations specialists and advises a diverse range of clients that include world leaders in politics and business, companies in every industrial and commercial sector, and other important organisations and individuals.​​​

Shih-Huei is a Council Member of the Singapore Business Federation and the Council for Board Diversity. She is also a committee member of the Career Women’s Group of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CWG SCCCI) which promotes women leadership. Shih-Huei is also a founding Exco-member of the Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Network (SG-WEN).​

She holds an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor from the National University of Singapore.​​
