Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) are always one of the considered options when a business is expanding or is entering a new market. It may help a business achieve higher growth within a shorter time span. However, if it is not executed properly, it may cause negative implications to the business. Among the elements in the M&A process, the valuation exercise is undeniably the critical step and it may significantly affect the M&A transactions.

 

In addition, the legal aspects relating to M&A including deal structure, indemnity, representations and warranties will be required to be considered in entering the M&A transactions.  Upon completion of the webinar, the participants will be able to understand the role of valuation in the M&A process and the focus areas when performing valuation for M&A.
