  • Sustainability context and importance for businesses
  • Key definitions: sustainability, ESG, CSR, triple bottom line, etc.
  • Key standards and frameworks and the linkage between them
    • UN SDGs, UNGC, GRI Standards, SGX Sustainability Listing Rules, TCFD, IISB, rating and rankings such as B Corp and EcoVadis
  • Sustainability strategy for SMEs:
    • Why do you need a sustainability strategy?
    • Who are the main stakeholders involved?
    • Establishing Governance
    • Conduct a materiality assessment to identify the most relevant ESG topics for your business and stakeholders
    • For each material topic:
      • Identify the current ‘sustainability stock’ (what is already implemented)
      • Define an action plan, KPIs and targets
    • Report your sustainability progress at least on an annual basis
    • How to avoid greenwashing
    • Consider participating in ESG ratings and awards
  • Recap and next steps

With a background in sustainability consulting and audit, Ivona supports businesses in their sustainability journey by building an impactful strategy, embedding sustainable practices across operations, and reporting performance to stakeholders.
 
She is the founder of Sustainao, a Singapore-based company specialized in sustainability consulting. Previously, Ivona worked as a sustainability auditor at KPMG France. Ivona also contributed to numerous assurance and consultancy projects, as well as conducted sustainability audits in 15 countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
 
Ivona holds an MBA in CSR & Sustainability and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management.
