Programme Objective

There is a new buzzword in the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world: Agile.

Agile practices emphasise on the flexible development approaches and early, frequent releases of product to users. It originated from the software development industry but organisations are now increasingly adopting Agile across all its functions. What is driving Agile’s surge in popularity?

As technologies and digitalisation evolve at an alarming pace, disruptors are emerging to challenge the incumbents. The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic is further challenging the traditional way of how organisations work. In order to survive and grow in this environment, organisations need to learn and adapt rapidly, execute faster, embrace changes and make better use of data. Agility is now required not just at a team level but at the organisational level.

To harness the full potential of the Agile methodology and thrive amid the competitive business landscape, organisations need to understand what being Agile is truly about. From the stakeholders and management, to rank-and-file employees, every individual needs to have a shared understanding of what Agile is within the organisation and how it can be applied.
