You will learn more about the 3 emerging cyber risks categories and the fundamental tricks that hackers have used to steal vital information from companies which has caused them a massive reputational damage. You will also get an update on how some of these gimmicks are being uncovered in today's technologically savvy world.

You will gain first-hand knowledge and insights into:
  • A Pragmatic Analysis of the 3 Clusters of Covid-19 Risks;
  • Strengthening Risk Management for the New Normal;
  • Singapore’s Adoption of NOCLAR in ISCA’s Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics (EP 100);
  • 12 Areas of Audit Focus to Consider Right Now; and
  • Recent Case Examples – Lessons Learned from Fallen Idols.

The Trainer will also speak on new ethical areas that impact the accountancy profession such as the Singapore journey towards NOCLAR adoption and will deep-dive into the pain points of the new international requirements, and share insights and solutions to practical issues.

The Trainer has deep and extensive experiences as a professional accountant and practitioner. Hewill share with you his real-life experiences, easy-to-understand examples, ethical dilemmas faced by auditors and plenty of illustrations to help explain how past tricks and scams were uncovered.

In addition, all participants attending this course will be given a ‘Quick Reference Guide’ called ‘The 3 Clusters of Covid-19 Risks and the 12 Areas of Audit Focus to Consider Right Now’, specially designed by the speaker as a helpful tool for use at your workplace.
