To provide an overview of various structured financing options available for a corporation to support its business activities and ensure a better environmental outcome.
The course will help participants to:
 

  • Obtain an overview of green finance
  • Examine the common green financing products (eg. green loan / green bond / sustainability-linked debt) and their key features
  • Understand other types of sustainable finance products (eg. blue bonds / transition bonds)


Case studies and examples will be used for illustration during the session.

Pre-requisites

Please take note of the following admission requirements:

  • Trainings will be conducted on Zoom platform, thus video camera and microphone are compulsory
  • Mandatory for video camera to be turned on throughout the course
  • Display your official name (as per NRIC) in Zoom, to facilitate attendance taking

Kelvin Song

Kelvin is currently Vice President of Strategic Investments, Mergers and Acquisitions in a Singapore-listed company. He has led or been involved in corporate finance and corporate restructuring activities across a wide spectrum of industries. With over 15 years of experience in various roles with corporates, investment banking and accounting firms, Kelvin works closely with key stakeholders to evaluate, structure and execute strategic investments, divestments as well as financing transactions in public and private markets.

Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University. He is also a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA Singapore), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA). Kelvin currently serves as a member of the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore’s (IVAS’s) Professional Development Working Group. He has been awarded the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) by Institute for Adult Learning (IAL).
