Julian is currently the Head of Marketing and Communications at the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and was previously Regional Vice President, Campaigns and Product Operations at Alibaba (Lazada).
Julian is a marketing and communications professional with over 15 years of experience in various marketing functions across industries such as eCommerce, technology, hospitality, aviation, manufacturing, advertising, and experiential events.
He has worked in Singapore, China, and Australia, working in Global Fortune 500 companies, marketing, communications & events agencies, and start-ups as well as operating as a freelancer. He is also a small business owner and angel investor.
Passionate about marketing and people development, Julian regularly provides pro-bono mentoring, consulting, and training in marketing. He lectures at several educational institutes including Singapore Management University, where he recently ran a course on Marketing Technology. Julian is also regularly involved in developing the new generation of marketers, working closely with university student marketing societies as well as being a mentor with several non-profit organizations.
In his free time, Julian enjoys playing various sports, travelling, photography, and spending time with his wife, 2 kids and Shiba Inu.
