How to Speak Unprepared Through Table Topic!

Do you hesitate to raise your hand when volunteers are called?

Does your mind go blank when you receive the topic?

We’ve all been there. The bane of every Toastmaster. Some jokingly call it Terror Topics.

Answering table topics is just like giving a regular speech. It has a structure. And once you understand what structure to use based on the question, you can answer the topic easily.

Becoming a Better Speaker through Prepared Speech!

You have crafted a memorable speech with all the fineries of beautiful language, cleverly use of words and great ideas. You have great delivery skills. At the end of your presentation, no one remembers what you have said.

Are you open minded enough to listen what a toastmaster can teach you in preparing your speech. They will share with you what is a great speech and importantly how to prepare a speech with are attention catching opening, well-structured body, and final closing to bring home the message you want to share.

Learning to Listen!

According to studies, most miscommunication result due to inability by one of the parties or both to listen attentively and understand what the other is saying. In communication, it is not only important to be able to speak clearly.

 Being able to listen effectively is equally important in a two-way communication.

Join us to uncover the skills needed to develop to be able to listen effectively in communication.

3. How to access your Path through Base Camp

Notes: 
  • The 8 CPE hours will be awarded to a participant who attends all 4 sessions of the speech craft.
  • To encourage continuous learning and development in the participant’s communication journey, participant will be entitled to a complimentary 6-month membership in both ISCA Toastmasters* and Toastmasters International (USA).
*Holds 2 meetings a month. You will be awarded 2 CPE hours (for ISCA Toastmasters member) for attending and participating in each meeting.
