Part 1: AML/CFT Trends for Professional Firms
As the global economy exits from the pandemic and as the war in Ukraine drags on, AML/CFT landscape continues to change.  This session looks at some of the key trends in regulatory compliance and money laundering/terrorism financing typologies in the non-financial sector.

Part 2: Importance of Sanctions Compliance and its Practical Compliance
Sanction compliance has come into the spotlight in recent years due to the rapid changes in worldwide geo-political situations. Sanctions have been used as a non-military response to conflicts and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. This session will provide an update on the global sanction landscape that will have implications on how businesses will be conducted.

Part 3: Anti-Sanctions Laws in China
This session looks to introduce relevant Chinese laws intended to counter unilateral foreign sanctions, including the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law, the Provisions on the Unreliable Entity List, the Export Control Law, and the Chinese “Blocking Statue”.
