This workshop focuses on the oversight and management of sustainability-related risks and opportunities and key practices relating to this.

Specially curated case studies, examples and research based on actual companies are used to discuss good and poor practices and challenges.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Understand changes in regulatory requirements and business landscape with respect to sustainable business practices
  • Evaluate different sustainability governance structures and practices, and considerations in choosing the appropriate structures and practices
  • Understand stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment, and questions to ask
  • Understand how to integrate sustainability considerations into the business and whether and how to incorporate sustainability considerations into management remuneration policies
  • Evaluate current corporate governance practices to align with sustainability

  • B corps and benefit corporations – businesses based on stakeholder capitalism
  • Putting in place appropriate structures and practices to ensure good governance and management of sustainability risks and opportunities
  • Stakeholder identification and engagement
  • Materiality assessment of sustainability-related factors
  • Integrating sustainability considerations into strategies, policies, metrics, targets, risk management, remuneration, etc.
  • Good disclosure practices relating to sustainability governance
  • Reviewing current corporate governance practices to align with sustainability
