Board Mentoring
The ISCA Board Mentoring is a series of mentorship events that offers a unique opportunity to connect with accomplished board members, gain real-world insights and expand your network within the boardroom community.

This mentoring initiative is part of the recently launched ISCA Board of Directors (BOD) Masterclass Programme, a training programme approved by Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) for first-time directors to receive training. The all-rounded, accessible and affordable programme prepares you to be board-ready and opens doors to an exclusive BOD network. Interesting case studies will be shared during this application-based training programme.

For the mentoring sessions, you can expect sharing of experiences and practical advice from distinguished industry veterans and networking with experienced directors and like-minded professionals. The session will commence with a sharing session before participants breakout into smaller groups.
 

Programme Outline

Duration, Format and Frequency
  • The 3rd and final mentoring session of 2025 will take place on 10 October 2025.
  • The mentoring sessions are conducted three times a year, with each session lasting around 2 hours and with targeted themes.
  • These regular get-together sessions will be arranged with knowledge sharing, networking and break-out discussions.

Mr Dilhan Pillay

Join us for an exclusive fireside chat featuring Mr Dilhan Pillay, Executive Director and CEO of Temasek Holdings, where he will delve into board development and effectiveness – critical elements for organisational success in today's complex business environment.
 
Drawing from his extensive experience, Dilhan will share his views on creating effective boards, from selecting directors with complementary skills to fostering productive board dynamics. He will provide insights on the key role that boards play in shaping company strategy, strengthening governance, and influencing organisational culture in impactful ways.

The session will be moderated by Mr Boon Swan Foo.

Mr Boon is the Executive Director and Chairman of Singapore Consortium Investment Management Limited (SICIM).

For his stewardship of ST Engineering Ltd, Mr Boon was awarded one of Singapore’s most prestigious business awards, the Singapore Business Award for Outstanding CEO in 2000. Mr Boon was also Chairman of ST Asset Management Ltd. (“STAM”) from April 2010 to December 2011. 

Mr Boon graduated from Newcastle upon Tyne with a degree in Naval Architecture. Mr Boon is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountant (UK)-ACCA. He holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore and has completed Harvard’s Advanced Management Program.

Ms Euleen Goh

Ms Euleen Goh is the Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Management Group Ltd, a non-profit institution of higher learning with some 16,000 learners. Euleen also serves as non-executive and independent director of Jebsen & Jessen Pte Ltd., an industrial enterprise that spans engineering, manufacturing, mining and distribution activities. Mrs. Fang Ai Lian is an Independent Director of Cromwell EREIT Management Pte Ltd and Singapore Post Limited. She is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Singapore Business Federation and Medishield Life Council, and a member of the SGX Listings Advisory Committee.
