It is mandatory for all participants to be equipped with a laptop (Microsoft OS, Windows 10, 4 gig ram, i5 core), pre-installed with either Microsoft Excel 2016 (full licence) or any latest version, to optimise the learning experience. Access to Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT would be required.
This course equips participants with the critical thinking skills needed to move from simple AI users to confident AI decision makers, using structured AI Systems to enhance judgment, analysis, and daily operations. Participants begin with Fundamentals on AI Literacy, followed by Learning to Leverage Key Strengths: Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT, understanding how each tool functions as part of a broader decision-support system.
Through the Interactive Exercise like DIY AI System, participants will build a simple system themselves, followed by real world examples in the AI System Showcase. The course concludes with Embodying the ‘AI-ccountable’ Mindset, preparing staff to use AI responsibly and strategically across the bank.
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate foundational AI literacy, including an understanding of how tools such as Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT work, together with their key strengths and limitations;
- Apply critical thinking to AI-generated outputs, distinguishing relevant insights from irrelevant information and evaluating the reliability of AI responses;
- Design practical human–AI collaboration workflows that support judgment, analysis, and decision-making in banking-related tasks;
- Use AI systems to structure analysis and problem-solving, applying systematic approaches to evaluate scenarios and develop possible solutions; and
- Adopt an ‘AI-ccountable’ mindset, applying responsible, ethical, and transparent practices when using AI in day-to-day work.
