Yee Loong is currently Professor of Accounting (Practice) at the Singapore Management University. He was formerly Tax Partner in Deloitte & Touche Singapore (1987- 2011). Yee Loong has specialised in taxation since qualifying as an accountant in the UK and has over 30 years of experience in Singapore Taxation and International Tax Planning.

Yee Loong had been nominated on several occasions as one of the top 10 leading Tax Advisers in Singapore by International Tax Review. He was also featured as one of the World’s Leading Tax Advisers in the Legal Media Group 2011 Guide to the World’s Leading Tax Advisers.

He holds a Master degree in Taxation and Public Finance, and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK, a Chartered Tax Advisor of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the UK, a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and an Accredited Tax Advisor.

Mr Lim Him Chuan

Mr Lim Him Chuan has over 20 years of banking experience and is Group Head of Strategy, Transformation, Analytics & Research (GSTAR) of DBS Group (DBS). He is a member of the DBS Group Executive Committee. In this role, he works with the Group CEO and Group Management Committee to develop strategies to drive growth and valuation for shareholders. He also oversees strategic reviews and execution of these strategies across the bank globally. As well, he is responsible for driving the transformation programme including the use of AI and data analytics in businesses across the bank.

Prior to this, Mr Lim was General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of DBS Bank Taiwan, a role he held from 2018 to 2023. Mr Lim’s other senior leadership roles at DBS include being Group Head of Product Management for Global Transaction Services, Group Chief Operating Officer for Institutional Banking Group and International Markets, Risk Management Group and Head of Group Audit.

Before joining DBS, Mr Lim was a Vice President with the Risk Management Group at JP Morgan and held the positions of Audit Manager and Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Singapore and New York.

Mr Lim was conferred the title of Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance Fellow in 2014 in recognition of his contributions to the Singapore financial services industry and his industry thought leadership.

An Accredited Tax Advisor in Income Tax, Wai Fook is a Tax Partner at EY Singapore. He is also the Global Compliance & Reporting Leader in Singapore and the Asean Tax Accounting & Risk Advisory Services Leader. 

He advises clients on corporate tax planning for outbound and inbound investments. He also assists them in training for tax treatments of financial reporting standards.

With vast corporate tax compliance, planning and accounting experience in the private and public sectors, Wai Fook has worked with numerous clients from different industries, including technology, media and entertainment, diversified industrial products, consumer products and retail.

Besides helping clients in managing their tax work, Wai Fook is also a committee member of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals’ Tax and Levies Committee representing the tax profession in bringing a myriad of tax issues to the authorities’ attention to enhance tax administration. In addition, he regularly shares his tax knowledge and experiences as a speaker at external seminars.

An Accredited Tax Advisor in Income Tax, Pauline as a Tax Partner at KPMG in Singapore, leads the tax governance practice. In addition, she is also part of KPMG's Global Environmental, Social and Governance Advisory Team.

Pauline holds an extensive background spanning 25 years of tax experience. She specialises in a variety of areas, including tax compliance, tax planning and incentive advisory, and is particularly involved in the infrastructure, healthcare and government sectors.

Her repertoire of tax experience is honed through her many years assisting companies in tax efficient transaction structuring, including the initial public offerings, cross-border transactions and mergers and acquisitions in the areas of tax due diligence and structuring.

Before joining KPMG, Pauline was a tax specialist at Inland Authority of Singapore. During her time there, she served at the Rulings and Tax Policy branch, contributing her valuable insights into individual income and corporate taxation, which laid the groundwork for her journey in taxation.


Dr Taimur Baig

Taimur Baig, Ph.D, heads global economics as well as macro strategy for interest rate, credit, and currency at DBS Group Research. He also advises the bank on risk management and investment strategy.

Prior to joining DBS, Dr. Baig was a Principal Economist at the Economic Policy Group, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Earlier, he spent nine years at Deutsche Bank’s Singapore office, where his last position was Managing Director and Chief Economist, Asia.

During 1999-2007, he was based in Washington, DC, at the headquarters of the International Monetary Fund, where his last position was Senior Economist.

Dr. Baig has published extensively for both specialists and a general audience, on areas including monetary policy, digital currency, financial technology, climate change, demographics, frontier markets, fiscal policy efficacy, and financial market contagion. He is the host of “Kopi Time,” a widely followed podcast series on markets and economies. 

Dr. Baig is an Honorary Advisor to the Global CFO Network, Director Fellow at the Asian Financial Cooperation Association, and Council Member of the Economic Society of Singapore. 

Dr. Baig holds a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He attended London School of Economics and Wabash College for his B.A. in Economics.

From 2019 to 2023, Jeannie was Assistant Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board’s (STB) Policy and Planning Group, spearheading policy and strategy matters for the tourism sector. Before that, Jeannie led the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau in securing a strong pipeline of business events. Jeannie was also previously Director of the Attractions and Tourism Concept Development divisions in STB, overseeing the master planning and development of key tourism zones and attractions.

Jeannie was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2022.
