Singapore’s focus on sustainability is reshaping the business and regulatory landscape. Accountants are required to adapt to new expectations surrounding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting and compliance. This half-day course aims to provide participants with an overview of key global and local frameworks, including Singapore Exchange (SGX) listing rules and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards. It will also provide participants with a roadmap to integrate ESG considerations into financial reporting.

Amanda currently serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Sustainability Officer at Apex Noble Sdn Bhd. Before transitioning to the ESG space in early 2023, she gained extensive experience in public policy through several impactful roles. She began her career as the Senior Private Secretary to two ministers in the Sabah state government (2018-2020) and later joined the Malaysian think tank EMIR Research (2020–2023). She also served as a Sustainability and Climate Change Experienced Associate at PwC Malaysia, enhancing her expertise in ESG frameworks and practices.
As a Visiting Fellow at KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, Amanda demonstrates thought leadership in public policy and sustainability issues.
Amanda is focused on empowering companies of all sizes to embrace ESG principles. Amanda had delivered numerous ESG training sessions for SMEs and PLCs in Kuala Lumpur and Sabah, working with many leading organisations such as B. Braun Medical Industries, Sapura Secured Technologies, Visionwide Consultancy Limited and Heng Ann Cocoa Plantation.
Amanda was recently awarded the title of GRI Certified Sustainability Professional. She holds an MSc in International Relations from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of London.
