In today’s fast-evolving market landscape, marked by trade disruption, supply chain volatility and economic uncertainty, finance professionals must go beyond static planning and reactive reporting. Traditional approaches are increasing less effective in supporting timely, forward-looking decisions.

Join this virtual session to explore the concept of Adaptive Finance, which covers adaptive forecasting, agile budgeting and responsive financial planning. These methods empower finance teams to respond swiftly, collaborate across functions, and deliver strategic insights when it matters most.

Designed for finance professionals and finance business partners, this session offers a preview of the ISCA Certified Agility in Finance (ICP-FIN) workshop launching in late Q3 2025. Learn how adaptive finance can elevate your role as a strategic partner and help your organisation navigate disruptions with agility and confidence.

Programme Outline

Adaptive Finance: Delivering on an Agile Bottom Line

Agile organizations operate with purpose and foresight, able to adapt and respond with speed and intention to whatever changes come their way.  This flexibility of action is enabled by reducing obstacles in management constructs and shortening decision cycles by empowering front-line staff to act.  A century of compliance and rigidity has made finance into a seemingly immovable constraint, forcing meaningful operational transformations to halt and revert to old practices.  But it does not have to be that way.

  • Explore why being an adaptive finance organization is more important now than ever before
  • Hear how adaptive finance concepts became real at tw telecom, where the finance team championed organization-wide changes that started with upgrading the overall planning process to true rolling forecasts, and ultimately led to unprecedented levels of engagement, business partnership, and sustained success for the company.
  • Examine the lessons learned from this adaptive finance organization for takeaways that you could apply to your organization.
  • Q&A and Reflection

Speaker: Nevine White, SVP FP&A, GTT
