Telemarketing Information

The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants ("ISCA") will adhere to the Do Not Call (DNC) provisions of Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 for the conduct of marketing activities to our members and the public. The ISCA will also adhere to General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and similar European and UK data protection and data security laws (the "Data Protection Laws") regarding marketing activities for ISCA members residing in Europe. If you wish to receive marketing, advertising and promotional information, materials and/or documents by way of voice calls, text messages or faxes about products, services or events that ISCA may be selling, marketing, offering or promoting, whether such products, services or events exist now or are created in the future or are provided by ISCA, third parties or ISCA’s business partners, please indicate your consent below:

(a) The voice calls, text messages and faxes will be sent to the telephone numbers that you have provided to us.

(b) If you have indicated that you do not consent, such indication by you does not affect the consent that you had provided to ISCA for ISCA to process your personal data for marketing purpose including sending you marketing information or materials by way of email and postal mail if you consented to marketing emails at the time you created your account with us or if it is to market similar events, courses or products that you have signed up for. Should you wish to withdraw your consent for us to send you marketing information or materials by email and postal mail, please contact our Data Protection Officer, details of which are provided in the Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

(c) Regardless that you have indicated that you do not consent, please note that ISCA reserves its right to send a specified fax message (as defined in the Personal Data Protection (Exemption from Section 43) Order 2013) (the "Exemption Order") and/or a specified text message (as defined in the Exemption Order) (i.e. a marketing fax message or marketing text message) to your Singapore telephone numbers, if there is an ongoing relationship between ISCA and you and the purpose of the message is related to the subject of the ongoing relationship, pursuant to the requirements and conditions of the Exemption Order.
