Our Computer Lab is equipped with Microsoft Excel 2016 & 2010. Due to compatibility issue, Excel 2013 will not be provided.
 
You may opt to bring along your laptop if you wish to use Excel 2013.

Programme Objective

After the course, participants will be able to:

  • Work with Excel and external databases such as MS-Access using SQL
  • Understand and use advanced Excel statistical and data manipulation functions for business analysis and reporting
  • Move datasets between MS-Access and MS-Excel
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses in MS-Access, MS-Excel

Dr Lim Thou Tin is a business graduate with the National University of Singapore. He holds double masters in information systems and knowledge management with further postgraduate qualifications in systems analysis, intelligent systems, marketing, management consulting and training. He has a doctor of business administration from Southern Cross University with current research interests in information systems and business modelling. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Financial Management.
 
His work experience includes working in large Singapore companies to MNCs in senior corporate, IT and project management positions. As a management consultant and practitioner, he has facilitated organizational initiatives/projects over a span of more than 15 years in the region, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Mauritius, China, India, Indonesia and Thailand.
