Our Computer Lab is equipped with Microsoft Excel 2016 & 2010. Due to compatibility issue, Excel 2013 will not be provided.
 
You may opt to bring along your laptop if you wish to use Excel 2013.

Programme Objective
 
Power Pivot is an Add-Ins in Microsoft Excel used to add data into Excel workbook and store it as an embedded Power Pivot database inside Excel file. You can then use this database in Excel PivotTable reports or in Power View reports. Power Pivot Add-Ins is available in Office Professional 2016, Excel 2016 standalone and Office 365 Pro Plus.
 
With Power Pivot, you can import millions of records from multiple data sources into a single Excel workbook, create calculated columns using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) functions, create Data Model, create Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) to track performance against targets and create calculated measures that aggregate data from different rows on a PivotTable.
 
The use of Power Pivot, PivotTable reports and Power View reports enable you to perform powerful data analysis, create interactive reports and make timely business decisions.

Intended For

This one day workshop is an introductory course for Power Pivot. The course is for those who proficient in building PivotTable report and have a need to create dynamic report with large volumes of data. Participants must have an adequate knowledge in Microsoft Excel and extensive working experience with PivotTable and PivotChart in order to benefit from the course. This course is not for beginners with basic level of Excel knowledge and those who seldom use Excel program.
