Employers of company-sponsored participants must submit training grant via SkillsConnect system to obtain training grant for course fees. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Company must be registered or incorporated in Singapore and;
  • Applicant is taking the course for the first time.
  • Applicant must be employed, and is either Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore and;
  • Applicant must achieve at least 75% attendance, and pass all examinations /assessments and;
  • Applicant must be fully sponsored by the Company for all costs associated with the training and;

Sam Sim is a board member and Vice-chair of the Tax Committee of the Tax Executive Institute Asia chapter and a former chair of the Transfer Pricing committee of CMTC, an industry group of Asia-Pac directors. He was also Deputy Head of Global Transfer Pricing at a European MNC with a team covering more than 70 countries worldwide. He combines practical commercial experience with clear explanation of ideas having lectured at the IBFD International Tax Academy and UniSIM Master of Tax programme and authored the seminal LexisNexis treatise – “The Logic and Practice of Transfer Pricing”. He holds Master degrees in Law, Accounting and Economics from, inter alia, the New York University School of Law (LL.M. Tax), SMU and University of Cambridge.
