Sam Sim was President of the Tax Executive Institute Asia chapter and a former chair of the Transfer Pricing committee of Capital Market Tax Committee. He is a co-founder of a leading international tax firm and a board member of a number of boards including the Audit & Risk and Disciplinary Committees of a Board of Directors of a statutory board. He was also a member of ISCA’s Ethics Committee and holds Master degrees in Law, Accounting and Economics from, inter alia, the New York University School of Law (LL.M. Tax), SMU and University of Cambridge. He combines practical commercial experience with clear explanation of ideas having lectured at the IBFD International Tax Academy, University of Vienna, Leiden University, Fudan University and SUSS Master of Tax programme and authored several books on taxation with Lexis-Nexis, IBFD and Walter Kluwer CCH.
