COURSE REGISTRATION
A participant is successfully enrolled for the course once an invoice is generated.
NO CANCELLATION
There will be strictly NO cancellation once the participant is successfully enrolled for the course.
NO-SHOW
There will be strictly NO refund for the no-show.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUEST
For requests pertaining to changes required on items (billing name/entity, name of participants to be reflected onto the invoice/certificate, entity billing address, etc) in the invoice and/or certificate after they have been generated, there will be an administrative fee of $43.60 (with GST).
NON-ATTENDANCE DUE TO MEDICAL/COMPASSIONATE REASONS
When a participant cannot attend the course due to medical or compassionate reasons, the participant or corporate user/member should submit an appeal for withdrawal via the ISCA eServices Portal at least 3 working days after the course. Approval may be granted with supporting documents on a case-by-case basis. If approved, a refund of the course fee will be processed, if payment has been made.
REQUEST FOR SUBSTITUTION OF PARTICIPANT
Substitution of participants is not allowed for individual registration (under personal billing). It is also not permitted for E-learning courses, Bundle/Prepaid Packaged courses and when funding has been applied.
Substitution of participants is allowed for corporate registration (under company billing) unless otherwise indicated.
Corporate user/member may request for the substitution of participants via the ISCA eServices Portal prior to course commencement. A top-up fee will be levied in the case where an ISCA member participant is substituted by a non-ISCA member. No refund will be made if a non-ISCA member participant is substituted by an ISCA member. Other than the top-up fee (if applicable), no administrative fee will be charged for substituting participants.
REQUEST FOR DEFERMENT/ SWITCH/ WITHDRAWAL OF COURSES
Deferment, switch and withdrawal are not allowed for E-learning courses and participants who are successfully enrolled for the Bundle/Prepaid Packaged courses.
Deferment to Another Session
When a participant cannot attend a course, he/she may request to defer to another session (subject to available dates) via the ISCA eServices Portal. An administrative fee of $43.60 (with GST) will be charged for regular courses and $218.00 (with GST) will be charged for Business Analytics and Reporting and C-suite courses.
Switch to Another Course
A participant may request to switch to another course via the ISCA eServices Portal. A top-up fee will be charged if he/she switches to a course with a higher fee. No refund will be made if the participant switches to a course with a lower fee. An administrative fee of $43.60 (with GST) will be charged for regular courses and $218.00 (with GST) will be charged for Business Analytics and Reporting and C-suite courses.
Course Withdrawal
When a participant cannot attend a course, he/she or the corporate user/member can submit an appeal for withdrawal via the ISCA eServices Portal. Approval may be granted with supporting documents on a case-by-case basis. An administrative fee of $43.60 (with GST) is payable.If approved, a refund of the course fee, less the administrative fee, will be processed if payment has been made.
Funded Courses
If funding has been applied, the participant may request to defer to another session, switch to another course or withdraw from the course by sending an email to cpe@isca.org.sg. The above administrative fees will apply.
In the event SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) rejects the training grant or claims application, the Company (company-sponsored applicant) or Participant (self-sponsored applicant) is liable for the Full course fee (inclusive of GST). For changes required on items in the invoice, after it has been generated, there will be an administrative fee charge of $43.60 (with GST).
TERMS OF SERVICE
The Institute reserves the right to change the above terms and conditions without notice.
The Institute will exercise all possible care to run the confirmed courses; however, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Institute reserves the right to cancel or defer the courses and/or change venue, speaker, course dates, fees and method of delivery. The Institute will take all reasonable efforts to notify participants of changes, should they happen. By default, no refund of the course fee and other related costs incurred will be made by the Institute for the no-show.
The courses may be conducted online through video conferencing, audio conferencing, webinars and/or other media, using third party applications, software, plug-ins, platforms and/or websites (collectively, “Third Party Applications”). You acknowledge and agree that your use of Third Party Applications shall be subject to the respective terms of service/use and privacy policy of such Third Party Applications. Third Party Applications may be updated, modified, disabled or changed at any time, and the Institute shall not be under any obligation to provide notice of any such changes.
The Institute does not have any control over Third Party Applications and shall not be responsible or liable for their content, operation or use, or the policies and practices of the providers of such Third Party Applications. By linking or otherwise providing access to Third Party Applications, the Institute does not provide any representation, warranty or endorsement, express or implied, with respect to the legality, accuracy, quality or authenticity of information or services provided by such Third Party Applications, or that the operation or use of such Third Party Applications will be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, reliable or secure.
The Institute expressly disclaims all liabilities and responsibilities arising in relation to Third Party Applications. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Institute shall not be liable for any damages, losses, expenses, and/or liabilities under any causes of action (whether in contract or tort, including negligence, or otherwise) caused by or in connection with the use of, or the inability to use, Third Party Applications, or any error, interruption, delay, failure or other technical breakdown or problem whatsoever and however caused by any equipment, software or service of third parties, including without any limitation, telecommunication problems, power supply problems, Internet or network related problems, problems with accessing or viewing the CPE course on Third Party Applications, or problems with the quality and resolution of the streaming, webcast or presentation of the CPE course on Third Party Applications.
You also agree not to: (i) copy, reproduce, record, publish, sell, transmit or disseminate the contents of any CPE courses; or (ii) communicate, post or upload any message or material that is harassing, libellous, threatening, obscene, indecent, would violate the intellectual property rights of any party or is otherwise unlawful, or that would give rise to civil liability, or that constitutes or encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offence under any applicable law or regulation; or (iii) upload or transmit any software, content or code that does or is intended to harm, disable, destroy or adversely affect the conduct of the CPE course, or the systems, software, equipment of other participants of the courses or other third parties; or (iv) engage in any activity or use of the Third Party Applications that could damage, disable, overburden, impair or otherwise interfere with or disrupt the services or operations of the Institute or such Third Party Applications, or any servers or networks connected to the systems and applications of the Institute or Third Party Applications; or (v) use the Third Party Applications in violation of the terms or policies of such Third Party Applications, or in a manner that violates applicable law and regulations.
The Institute seeks to collect and may use and/or disclose your personal data for matters relating to your course enrolment and/or one or more of the purposes set out under Clause 4 of ISCA's Privacy and Data Protection Policy (https://isca.org.sg/privacy-and-data-protection-policy/), in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. This may include disclosure of your full name and email address to any third party who operates a Third Party Application to facilitate your participation in any online CPE course hosted or delivered through such Third Party Application. This may also include disclosure of your company name and job position to third party agents such as CPE trainers to facilitate their contextualization of course contents and/or facilitate the delivery of CPE courses at the appropriate difficulty level. The Institute may from time to time use your personal data to inform you of related news, CPE activities, members' benefits, goods, services, facilities and events, where you have consented to receiving such information. The Institute may also use your personal data for the conduct of statistical research and studies, and analyse the data collected to administer, develop and improve its services. For the purpose of event coverage and our records, photography and/or recording (including videography) will be in progress during the event. Please inform the photographers (or organizer) if you do not wish for your photographs or recordings to be taken. Some online courses may be recorded and shared with participants of the course, and you hereby consent to such recordings and use and sharing by the Institute.
By enrolling in a course and/or participating in any events or activities organized by the Institute (including any purchases of goods and services from the Institute), you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with ISCA's Privacy and Data Protection Policy: http://isca.org.sg/privacy-and-data-protection-policy/
