Programme Objective
 
The aim of the 2-part programme is to build the capability of finance professionals, risk managers and risk owners through structured lectures, discussions, practical case studies and assessments.

Part 1: Alignment of Risk with Organisational Strategy & Performance.

Participants would be able to:

  • Understand to address common enterprise risk management failures
  • Holistically identify, assess and manage risks to help an organisation achieve its mission, vision, strategy & performance in the current unpredictable environment.

These applications are to be aligned with organisation’s risk maturity level and risk policy with a targeted organisation-wide risk management programme which includes implementation plan and monitoring strategy.
 
Participants are given the flexibility to attempt Part 1 and Part 2 in any sequence within 6 months.

Completion of a pre-course reading module and a knowledge check quiz is required before attending the 2-day course, where participants will gain a deeper understanding of global best risk management practice content through classroom discussion & presentation (case studies, workshop or projects).

Day 1:
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)- Introduction & Implementation 

  • ERM fundamentals and the challenges
  • Current risk management in an organisation and the relation to stakeholders
  • ERM implementation, framework & process


(7 CPE Hours)

Day 2:
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)-Governance, Sustainability & Assurance

  • Corporate governance & risk oversight
  • ERM tools, methodologies & applications for sustainability
  • Risk reporting, communication & monitoring for assurance
  • Classroom discussion & presentation (case studies, workshop or projects)
  • Online Assessment

Total 17 CPE Hours


Training Methodology
 
This programme includes 3 hours of self learning (Pre-course Readings + knowledge check quizzes), 14 hours of classroom learning and assessment elements.
 
Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and a Certificate of Competency – “ISCA Professional Risk Management” once they have completed the pre-course reading, knowledge check quiz, classroom learning and pass the online assessments.


Closing Date for Registration

1 week before programme or until full enrolment.
