Programme Outline

This is a 2-hour webinar which aims to focus on the practice monitoring programme (PMP) findings on audit work areas which are commonly lacking. Through this workshop, participants will be able to understand the practical ways to address some common findings and improve audit quality.

Based on the inspection findings by the Practice Monitoring Programme (PMP), the areas with the highest frequency of findings over the last few years are:

• Accounting estimates, including fair value measurement
• Revenue recognition
• Risk assessment and audit evidence
• Audit report
• Group audit

In this webinar, the speaker will discuss some of these common pitfalls and some cases will be used to illustrate how to avoid them.
