Hongrui is the Chief Financial Officer of MET Asia Energy. MET Asia Energy focuses on liquefied natural gas trading and investments in renewables, gas and power value chain. He leads and is responsible for M&A, group restructuring, operation and compliance matters. Previously, he was the core founding member of TotalEnergies Renewables – APAC where he led the full spectrum of finance functions. Further to this, as a digitalisation advocate, he spearheads and successfully implemented finance digitalisation and automation initiatives.
Hongrui is a committee member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (“ISCA”) Young Professional Advisory Committee. In 2024, he was appointed to the Implementation Committee for Accountancy Workforce Development which was jointly established by Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and ISCA. He specialises in International Financial Report Standards and is an accounting trainer on renewable energy at ISCA.
Hongrui is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore, a Certified Internal Auditor and FRM – Certified Professional.

He is known for his expertise in driving operational efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth within the technology sector.

Valentia Tan leads the Professional Services team for the APAC region at BlackLine, where she oversees the successful delivery of implementation projects and ensures the adoption of best practices across engagements. Her leadership is instrumental in driving operational excellence and client success throughout the region.
Prior to joining BlackLine, Valentia accumulated over a decade of experience in audit, accounting, and finance transformation across both public and private sectors. She has a strong track record of modernizing financial operations, streamlining processes, and delivering strategic insights that support data-driven decision-making and sustainable growth.
Valentia is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and holds the ASEAN CPA designation. She is also BlackLine Implementation Certified in both Financial Close Management and Invoice-to-Cash.
