Programme Objective

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the new oil and electricity of the twenty-first century. 

With the breakthrough of Large Language Model like ChatGPT the frontier of AI is rapidly transforming. AI is no longer a mere concept but imperative applications for business, social and personal productivity and effectiveness.   

Understanding how to navigate the waves of Artificial Intelligence cannot be more critical.  Can you afford to be ignorant or have a hazy understanding of what AI is, how it works and what are some of the cases and applications in the industries?  

AI technology may be complex but it can be made easy to understand using lay-man language. The mystery of ChatGPT will expounded.  You will be able to differentiate between the facts and fictions of what AI is and how it can impact organisations and businesses. You do not need to be a technology freak to enjoy this programme.  

This course equips you with a basic understanding of AI and its applications. With it you can confidently grow in your knowledge and commence your journey to harness AI opportunities.

  7. Ethical issues arising from AI and its mitigation

Training Methodology

The workshop will be conducted online. A combination of lecture presentation, sharing of used cases and large group and small group discussions.

Guan Mong holds a Chartered Accountant (Singapore), an MBA (Accountancy) degree from the Nanyang Technological University, a double Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and the Singapore Institute of Management, and an Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
